Love is Louder is all about the actions we can take to feel better and help others. Hundreds of thousands of people from around the world have joined the movement to deal with issues like depression, bullying, self-injury and loneliness. You can hold Love is Louder events or start a club to make your campus or community more supportive or inclusive. Or you can participate by yourself as a way to improve the way you feel, share your story or help other people.
Here are some ideas to get started:
- Connect: Follow Love is Louder on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram (@loveislouderpics) to boost your mood and find out ways to take action.
- Express: Take and share a #loveislouder picture through your social networking. Check out some of the pictures that other people have shared.
- Amplify: Use the Love is Louder Action Kit to plan events on your campus or in your community that spread the Love is Louder message and make everyone feel more supported and less alone.
- Share: If you’d like to share a story about how you overcome a really dark or difficult time, email the Love is Louder Team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Love is Louder movement was launched in late 2010 by The Jed Foundation, MTV and actress Brittany Snow. Check out this highlight video:
